9 of Our Favourite Restaurants in Delhi

Delhi, or Dilli as the locals still call it, is a foodie’s paradise! You could spend your entire life exploring the city’s food scene and still find new gems every time.

With new restaurants, cafes, and bars popping up all the time, Delhi is a melting pot of cultures and cuisines. And let me tell you, as a food lover, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the options.

But don’t worry, I’ve got your back. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, I am excited to share some of my favourite spots in Delhi that will have you coming back for more.

1. Capital Kitchen

They have some of the best chefs in the country, offering a variety of cuisines, including South Indian, Italian, regional and continental. Take your pick from their lavish menu; trust me, you won’t be disappointed. It adds to the whole ‘Taj’ experience and makes it even more awesome.

2. Kheer- Roseate House

You’ll feel like royalty as soon as you step into this place. The sophisticated atmosphere effortlessly combines the old with the new, creating an elegant and modern ambiance. And the menu? A true masterpiece! The signature Kheer tasting sampler is an absolute must-try. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

3. Olive Bar & Kitchen

Olive Bar and Kitchen is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is simply divine. The unique European vibe and the all-white decor are a stunning visual treat. It’s perfect for a romantic night out, a fancy business dinner, or drinks with friends.

4. The Big Chill Cafe

I have been to The Big Chill Cafe many times and have never been disappointed. Whether you’re craving pasta, salads, or desserts, every bite is a delightful experience. It is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Delhi.

5. Dolma Aunty Momo’s

A legendary spot for street food enthusiasts, especially known for its mouthwatering momos!!!

6. Diggin Cafe

Every bite is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. And if that’s not enough, the outdoor seating area is an absolute delight, especially during evenings when the ambiance is mesmerizing. Get ready for an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you wanting more!

7. Moti Mahal

What an incredible coincidence! My friends and I were on our way to another restaurant, but our stomachs were growling, and we spotted this place. Little did we know it would turn out to be a hidden gem! The staff, who I’m guessing have been there for ages, showered us with so much warmth and hospitality! You must try their butter chicken and garlic naan – they were out of this world!

8. Wenger’s

The oldest bakery in the country, situated in the heart of the nation’s capital, is a favourite of every Delhite. With a reputation that has stayed intact over the years, Wenger’s is all about tradition and taste. The pastries and snacks melt in your mouth!

9. Ottimo at West View

A rooftop restaurant of ITC Maurya with great views has both indoor and outdoor dining options. The food is delicious, and the service is exceptional. We loved the pasta, a slice of heaven, and the orange cake for dessert.
