Yoslin Ruhane has a contagious positive attitude. She’s a travel fanatic, fashion enthusiast, and a beach lover. The fashion model and marketing consultant lives in Mexico. Here, she talks about her go-to beach essentials, signature red lip, and a holy-grail skincare product for plumpy and hydrated skin.
How do you define beauty?
Everyone is beautiful. Beauty is about self-worth and how we feel inside to show outside, feel comfy with who we are and don’t listen to society’s rules.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
Learning about life, about me, and the world is always inspiring me because it is amazing to see how big everything is: the dreams, the possibilities, the world, and the perspectives.
What’s the best advice you’ve received?
Time is always our best friend. This means it doesn’t matter what is happening. Everything, with time, will be in the place where it’s meant to be.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Enjoy everything that comes your way. Go at your own pace. Do not rush anything. Finally, you are amazing and gonna keep being amazing.
Let’s talk fashion. What’s a must-have clothing item everyone should have?
White sneakers. I think you can make all kinds of outfits with this must. It doesn’t matter which brand or design it is, and being comfortable is always important.
Since you’re a major bikini lover, do you have a favourite style?
I like all kinds of bikinis. I prefer colour full style or different styles, and of course, I love to always keep it classy.
Your go-to beach essentials?
I’m the kind of person who loves to swim on the beach, which means I can’t go just to relax on the sand. So, part of my beach essentials is another outfit to change into after a swim, sunblock, sunglasses, and some fruit, and sometimes I can make time to read a book to relax after a swim.
What does your skincare routine look like?
First, I wash my face with honey facial soap. After that, I use Nivea’s Rose Care to tone my face. Next, I Moisturize using Clinique’s Moisture Surge on my face and neck, which makes my skin feel super hydrated and plump. For my eyes, I absolutely love Isdinceutics’ Vital Eyes Anti Aging Cream. It’s so rich, soothing and refreshing for the eyes.
And sunscreen?
I have two kinds. The first one is ISDIN Ultralight tinted mineral sunscreen, and the other one is ISDIN Fusion Water SPF 50 Ultralight daily sunscreen.
What about makeup?
Most of my makeup is just Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara by Too Faced, lipstick Fabby by MAC and Clay Play To-Go Cheek by Tarte, and that’s it. I’m not fond of too much makeup, so I try to keep it minimal.

Afghan oil and some natural remedies for glow and hydration.
Do you have a favourite perfume?
Fame by Paco Rabanne, Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf, and Perfect by Marc Jacobs.
Do you have any self-care rituals that help you feel your best?
As my boyfriend always says, drink water and eat greens.
What makes you the happiest version of yourself?
Good company, good food, good energy, and lots and lots of love.
What Superpower do you wish you had and why?
Teletransport. So that I can be wherever I want and whenever I want.
